We're seeking a Finance Assistant with excellent financial reporting skills to join our team. This role involves managing, processing, and troubleshooting various finance-related tasks, including handling and rectifying failed payments. You will play a crucial role in contributing to the smooth running of the finance department in our online coaching business.
As our Finance Assistant, you'll be essential to our day-to-day financial operations, creating regular financial reports, maintaining financial records, assisting in budgeting, and ensuring compliance with statutory legislation and regulations. Your responsibilities will also include supporting the financial planning and budgeting processes, managing payables and receivables, and troubleshooting any payment issues.

Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Management Assistance: Aid in financial operations, including troubleshooting failed payments, and ensure all financial data is accurate.
- Reporting: Leverage your financial reporting skills to generate precise and timely financial reports, providing insights into our financial health.
- Systems Proficiency: Operate efficiently across various financial platforms such as ThriveCart, Stripe, PayPal, Quaderno, and Xero, ensuring smooth transactions and resolving payment issues.
- Data Organization: Maintain orderly and readily accessible financial records using tools such as Google Drive. Be responsible for the security and accuracy of all financial data.
- Compliance and Regulations: Ensure our financial operations comply with financial laws and regulations, performing regular audits and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current financial legislation.
- Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with other team members, providing financial insights that assist in strategic decision making and overall business planning.
Qualifications:
- Education and Experience:
A diploma or degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with at least 2 years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
- Reporting Skills:
Strong proficiency in financial reporting and financial analysis.
- Systems Knowledge:
Familiarity with financial platforms such as ThriveCart, Stripe, PayPal, Quaderno, and Xero. Proficiency in using Google Drive for data organization.
- Detail-Oriented:
An eye for detail, ensuring accuracy in all financial data.
- Passion for Gender Equality:
A genuine interest in promoting gender equality and female entrepreneurship, with the ability to support an industry-focused mission.
