YOUR FUTURE ROLE

You are responsible for purchasing raw tobacco in taking into consideration harvest, price and quality fluctuations. You are defining purchase plans and buying strategies according to the budget-forecast. You safeguard the quality of the raw tobaccos; the consistency of the blends and you are also participating in the development of new products and product adaptations.

OUR REQUIREMENTS

Qualification

Bachelor Degree (preferred Master Degree) in Agronomy / Agriculture Studies

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in tobacco growing/trading or cigar/cigarillo/cigarette manufacturing or minimum 5-7 years of working experience in growing/trading and/or quality and/or purchasing department in wine or coffee company

Attitude

Passionate about Tobacco, high quality orientation, honest and open, good, intercultural skills, perseverant, reliable, team player, proactive, flexible, can laugh :-)

Languages

English fluent/proficient, Spanish/Portuguese/German is an advantage
