APPOINTMENT OF CLERK AND RESPONSIBLE FINANCIAL OFFICER
Salary within Grade LC1
(SCP 13-17 - £12.97-£13.95 per hour)
Part-time (12 hours per week)
Applications are invited for the part-time post of Clerk and Responsible Financial Officer to Broadmayne Parish Council.
Work is primarily home-based but will require evening attendance at meetings. Expenses can be claimed for telephone/internet usage and other work-related expenses. A laptop and printer are provided.
Applicants should hold, or be prepared to work towards the CILCA qualification, and need to be self-motivated with strong communication and organisational skills including experience with MS Word and Excel. A working knowledge of local government procedures is desirable.
The successful candidate will ensure that all legal, statutory, financial, and other governing provisions relating to the Council are observed, and that all Council meetings are properly administered, and decisions effectively implemented.
