Sr. Planner, Aftersales Business Intelligence [Mexico]


 
Key job responsibilities:
  • Create a hub for Aftersales reporting and build infrastructure (Within Tableau and/or other tools as required) which take data from various resources and convert them to intelligence supporting all Aftersales team with intelligence required to run & grow the business
  • Automation of Aftersales reporting required for governance, create and design technical solutions to meet business needs by translating end user's requirements and finding innovative, creative visualizations and tools for data using the Aftersales DataMart (ADAM). Must be capable of strategizing and brainstorming with Aftersales teams to create viable solutions.
  • Ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously and transition between projects while working both independently and effectively in teams.
  • Strategy, development, maintenance and management of advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions primarily using SQL, Python, Informatica Prep, Snowflake, and SAP Business Objects. Extracts, validates, and analyzes desired data using extraction tools.
  • Oversee gathering requirements to improving existing systems from teams within the business to streamline workflow and processes.
  • Recommend, understand and utilize tools to store data effectively within the data mart or data lake solutions, online analytical processing, as well as maintaining data analytics platforms so that data can effectively be mined for information by the end user body.
  • Perform and document data analysis, data validation, data mapping/design, by accessing multiple sources, specifically data residing in source systems.
  • As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative.
  • With the support of the Planner, Business Ops, direct end user tests and develop database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues that arise. Document processes and terms in an electronic data glossary.

Job Knowledge and Skill:
  • Advanced analytical skills
  • Experienced with Tableau in development of Performance Scorecard/KPI related dashboards related to data-driven business analysis in a business, vs. an IT role.
  • Strategic data warehouse knowledge & capabilities
  • Advance experience using SQL and/or Python to create data pipelines to support business use-case and data ingestion execution
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Experience & other requirements
  • Advanced English
  • 5+ years of database experience. Business, Aftersales, Purchasing, or Marketing experience is highly preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Analytics, Business Technology. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proficient with mainframe applications to resolve complex problems in day-to-day situations. Technical and/or programming experience preferred.
