Training Specialist for Central and Southeast Europe (Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Greece, Cyprus, Romania and Bulgaria)


Responsibilities:

  • The Training Specialist’s primary function is to independently execute the regional training plan, developing and delivering customer training (both online and on site) regarding EBSCO products, services, and enhancements.
  • Creation and maintenance of training outlines and presentations, as well as delivery of online training for customers in English and Czech.
  • Work with libraries to maximize customer loyalty and retention.
  • Work with Sales Management to define and establish training plans in the assigned territory and markets.
  • Serve as a visible spokesperson and expert for relevant EBSCO products. Remain abreast of product changes in order to share updates with customers

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Previous experience in the similar position
  • Technical acumen - for development of in-depth technical product knowledge and video development
  • Competency in the use of personal computing, tablets and other mobile devices to perform business functions which include: Email communications, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • Competency in the use of the internet with the associated ability to effectually demonstrate company's products and services
  • Possession of a valid driver’s license for the assigned territory
  • Able to travel 50 % of the time in the territory covered
  • Confident with public speaking and making presentations to audiences ranging in size from one to several hundred people
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as a part of the team
  • Residing in Prague

Language skills:

  • Czech or Slovak language speaker with active knowledge of written and spoken English - official company language
  • Knowledge of other language from Central and Southeast Europe region is an advantage
