GEMS is currently recruiting 6 exceptional individuals to join our team as Client Liaison Officers in various provinces. As a Client Liaison Officer, you will play a crucial role in our organization, reporting directly to the Team Leaders and becoming an integral part of our Client Liaison Division. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference and provide valuable support to our esteemed members. The positions are based in the following provinces:

  • Eastern Cape, Sarah Baartman District (Bedford, Cookhouse, Somerset East, Jansenville, Aberdeen, Graaf Reinet, and Middelburg).
  • Eastern Cape, Chris Hani District (Cofimvaba, Ngcobo, Elliot, Lady Frere, Cala, Dordrecht, and Sterkstroom).

    Eastern Cape, Joe Gqabi District (Aliwal North, Sterkspruit, Maclear, Burgersdorp, Barkley East, etc).
  • Northern Cape, Kimberly
  • Mpumalanga, Nelspruit
  • North West, Mahikeng

We offer a competitive remuneration package that is negotiable based on qualifications and experience. As a Client Liaison Officer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Team Leaders and implementing key performance areas (KPAs) to ensure excellent service delivery. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Visiting, interacting, and assisting members in departments and other public service offices.
  • Facilitating meetings and one-on-one sessions to resolve administrative issues.
  • Handling Scheme correspondence and following up on outstanding information or documents.
  • Assisting the marketing service provider at events and addressing member queries.
  • Resolving queries promptly and maintaining records for reporting purposes.
  • Building positive relationships with Scheme members and stakeholders.
  • Ensuring effective communication between members and the Scheme.
  • Providing ad hoc information and utilizing your extensive Scheme knowledge.
  • Using computer systems proficiently to resolve member queries.
  • Promoting the Scheme to potential members and facilitating enrollment.

To excel in this role, you should meet the following qualifications:

  • Matric (Grade 12) and a post-matric qualification at an NQF Level 5.
  • RE5 qualification is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years industry experience.
  • Strong administrative and planning skills.
  • Passion for customer service excellence.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
  • Valid driver's license and access to your own car.
